This is a sample of what our day would usually look like:
8:30am Children begin to arrive and choose from an array of activities
All students should arrive by 9:30am.
Indoor & Outdoor Lessons Given: Children learn and explore with Montessori materials. Both group and individual lessons are tailored to each child’s needs in accordance to Montessori teaching methods, in the curriculum areas of: Math, Language, Sensorial exploration, Gross & Fine Motor skills and Natural Sciences. The children move about the classroom freely and choose their own activities. The children can be seen engaging with their peers, making art, feeding our class bunny, using the bathroom independently, or eating snack at any time during the morning.
11:15 Circle time: Songs, games, books, and cultural enrichment happens here.
12pm Outdoor play: an opportunity for games, sports, and learning in the garden.
12:30-1pm Half day children picked up
1pm Rest/Nap time
1:45 Afternoon lesson time for non-nappers: Children continue to explore and learn.
3pm Full day children picked up
